Cherry Cobbler Recipe

– 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 2/3 cup granulated sugar
– 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
– ¼ teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon cinnamon
– 1 cup milk
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 21-ounce can premium canned cherry pie filling
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
2. Place the unsalted butter in a 9×9 inch baking dish or similar size and put it in the oven to melt.
3. Once the butter has melted, remove the dish from the oven.
4. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
5. In a measuring cup, combine the milk and vanilla extract.
6. Pour the milk mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
7. Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish, but do not mix them together.
8. Spoon the cherry pie filling on top of the batter, evenly distributing it.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 to 60 minutes, or until the cobbler is golden brown and bubbly.
10. Once done, serve the cherry cobbler warm with fresh whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream. Enjoy!
