This is not a healthy dish, although it is delicious. For people who don’t like them, onions are optional. I make it for my family a lot and the restaurant I work at changed its recipe to this !
* Ingredients :
° 4 tablespoons butter
° 2 large potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
° ½ onion diced
° 2 cloves minced garlic
° 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
* Directions :
Step 1
Melt 4 1/2 tablespoons butter in a large saucepan over medium to high heat. Cooking potatoes, stri, to golden brown, 10 to 15 min .
Step 2
Meantime, melt rest 1 1/2 tsp butter in other skillet on heat. Cooking and stirring onion & garlic until softened, for 5 min . Reduce heat to medium-low and continue to cook until garlic is lightly browned, another 5 to 10 minutes. Stir the onion mixture with the potatoes.
Step 3
Cook and stir the potatoes and onions until the potatoes are soft, another 10 minutes.

- For extra flavor, you can add minced garlic or chopped herbs such as rosemary or thyme to the skillet when frying the potatoes.
- Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences. You can also experiment with different spices and herbs to customize the dish to your liking.
